In the small, tight-knit town of Doraville, beloved for its resilience and unity, the establishment of a GM Plant in 1947 sparks hope and prosperity and the town thrives. But when the same GM Plant that “made” the town of Doraville shuts down over 60 years later, the town faces its greatest challenge yet. Untold numbers of families were either directly or indirectly impacted by the resulting job loss. Fifteen years later, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of the now abandoned lot of the former GM Plant, in steps Hollywood with a vision to make Doraville the new Hollywood of the south! Amidst uncertainty, Doraville must navigate the delicate balance between preserving her heritage and embracing new opportunities. Can Doraville forge a symbiotic relationship with Hollywood while staying true to her roots, or will the allure of fame and fortune threaten the fabric of her community?
